Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital, a loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister, Aunt and friend, Agnes A. Hennessey of Harbour Grace, age 94 years. Predeceased by husband: Thomas E.; daughter: Carmel Parsons; parents: John and Mary Ellen Emberson; sisters: Elizabeth McCarthy (Justin) and Marie Haire (Gerald); parents in law: James and Susan Hennessey. Leaving to mourn and celebrate her long life, her loving children: Harry (Daisy deceased), Sheila (Jerome) Crawford, Paula (Reg) O’Neill, Maggie (Skip deceased), and Thomas (Valma deceased); son-in-law Sam Parsons; 15 caring grandchildren: Brenda, Barbara (George), Mary Ellen, Michelle (John), Jerry (Lisa), Brad (Janelle), Lucy (Allan), Andrea (Allan), Susan (Gary), Karla (Greg), Sam Jr. (Sherry), Amanda (Rendell), Gerry (Caryn), Matthew, and Luke (Audrianna); 23 great-grandchildren: Jonathan, Brandon, Erin, Kyle, Liam, Rebecca, Joshua, Brooklyn, Jacob, Mackinley, Emersyn, Finley, Lewis, Alana, Ava, Ethan, Taylor, Brittany, Ruby, Nora, Lily, Vaughn, and Eden; one sister Margaret (Jim) Holloway; along with a large circle of extended family and friends. We would also like to thank the staff and residents of Lane’s Retirement Home, Carbonear. Visitation at Noel’s Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Sunday, January 22 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Monday, January 23 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Tuesday, January 24 at 10:30 a.m. from St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
