CLARKE, Alfreda - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, July 7, 2013, Alfreda Clarke of Victoria, age 83 years. Predeceased by husband: Chesley; grandson: Nathaniel Little; great-great-grandson: Kayson; parents: John and Leah Beatrice Slade; three brothers: John , Murdock and Elias; six sisters: Dora Rossiter, Christina Pye, Susanne Dean, Margaret Slade, Mabel Parsons and Nina Curnew; Leaving to mourn: two daughters: Dorothy (Gus) Combdon and Mary (Charlie) Little, both of Victoria; one son: David (Doris), Carbonear; six grandchildren: Lynette (Bruce), Kenneth (Karen), David Jr. (Trina), Perry (Melanie), Sarah and Kari; eight great-grandchildren: Matthew (Krista), Rebecca (Jeremy), Jennifer (Justin), Crystal, Bradley, Victoria, Taylor and Branden; five great-great-grandchildren: Cameron, Alexa, Justine, Jayden and Colby; one sister: Maxine Vaters, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, July 10, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
