PARSONS, Annie C. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, January 9, 2013, Annie C. Parsons of Carbonear, age 87 years. Predeceased by husband: John; son: Samuel; grandson: Christopher; parents: James and Wesley King; brothers: Herbert, Wallace and George; sisters: Minnie and Beulah. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Shirley (Graham) Vaters, Toronto, ON, Sandra Turnbull and Edna (Elliott) Antle, both of Carbonear; nine grandchildren: Stanley, Darrell, Don, Dwayne, Dennis, David, Sam, Lisa and Jackie; twenty-one great-grandchildren; two brothers: Albert (Dora) King and George King, both of Victoria; one sister: Hilda (Tom) Penney, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Due to stormy weather on Friday, funeral service will now take place on Sunday, January 13 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in Bethany United Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
