THOMEY, Annie Loretta - Passed peacefully away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Friday, May 2, 2014, Annie Loretta Thomey, age 85 years. Predeceased by parents: Arthur and Mary (Walsh) Thomey; sisters: Gertrude Russell and Mary Thorne; brothers: William, Walter and Jack. As the last leaving member of the Thomey family, Annie leaves to mourn numerous nieces and nephews. Annie will be sadly missed by Mike and Marg Woodford and staff and residents of Woodford's Comfort Manor where she called home for 25 years. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace on Sunday from 2:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the SPCA.
