COLE, Arthur - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, January 31, 2014, Arthur Cole of Victoria, age 87 years. Predeceased by 1st wife: Sarah, daughter: Ruby, grandchildren: Stephen and Robert, sons-in-law: Graham and Lorne, six brothers and two sisters. Leaving to mourn, wife: Angela; his children: Ann (Colin) Greening, Port Blandford, Joan Cull, Broad Cove, Frank (Beverly), Bay Roberts, Arthur Jr. (Gennie), Northern Bay, Fred (Sandra), ON, Donna (Bruce) Pike, Spaniard's Bay, Dennis (Mona), Victoria, Sharon (Derrick) Butt, Spaniard's Bay, Unetha (Nathan) Stone, Bryant's Cove, George (Violet), Victoria, Beverly Puddester, ON, Willena (Ray) Decoteau, AB, Charlotte (Kevin) Petten, Port de Grave and Tina (Brian) Forward, Victoria; three step-daughters: Rosemary (Lloyd) Clarke, Victoria, Frances (Gordon) Laing, ON and Gertie (David) Stone, Victoria; forty-two grandchildren, thirty-six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren; two brothers: Fred and Roy (Carol), both of NS; three sisters: Sue (Jack), Effie (Bruce) and Lena (Stanley), all of NS; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours on Saturday, Feb. 1 from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, Feb. 2 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday, Feb. 3 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, February 3 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Bethel Pentecostal Church Kidz Klub.
