SHEPPARD, Arthur - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, October 16, 2011, Arthur Sheppard of Harbour Grace, age 73 years. Predeceased by son: Scott R.; two infant children; parents: Ralph and Florence Sheppard; brother-in-law: Tom Adams. Leaving to mourn, wife: Mary 'Mame'; five daughters: Brenda Sheppard (Danny), Bonnie (Thomas) Connors, Sharon (Victor) Verge, Verna (Aaron) Moriarty and Tina (Clifford Sr.) Verge, all of Harbour Grace; two sons: Arthur (Denise), Botwood and Corey (Barbara), Carbonear; eighteen grandchildren: Curtis, Thomas Jr., Kerri, Tiffany, Darrin, Shannon, Victoria, Julia, Ashley, Jessica, Jeffrey, Clifford Jr., Zachery, Daphne, Jamie, Justin, Christian and Sebastian; seven great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; three brothers: Ralph (Elizabeth), Harbour Grace, Gary (Janet), Prince Edward Island and Terry (Susan), Harbour Grace; five sisters: Judy Adams, Shirley (Hughie) Sheppard, Vera (Orville) Burton, Joan Parsons and Marjorie (Eugene) Sheppard all of Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace after 7:30 p.m. Monday. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church, Hr. Grace. Interment in St. Paul's Anglican Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Arthur Sheppard Memorial Fund.
