EARLE, Arthur W. - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Saturday, October 6, 2012, Arthur W. Earle of Carbonear, age 82 years. Predeceased by wife: Hazel; sons: William and Kevin; parents: Albert and Jessie; brothers: Clarence, John and Jim; sister: Annie Mutrey; son-in-law: Arthur Osmond. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Violet (Jerry) Foley and Elizabeth Earle, both of Carbonear; two sons: Cephas (Joan) and Eric (Kathy), both of Carbonear; daughter-in-law: Marion Earle, Carbonear; eight grandchildren: Chris, Melissa (Herbie), Chad, Samantha (Billy), Tiffany, Paul, Amanda and Nicholas; one great-granddaughter: Emily; three sisters: Stella (Nelson) Taylor, Bristol's Hope, Dorothy (Patty) Butler and Violet Thomey, both of Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:30 p.m., Sunday. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, October 9 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment in the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Arthur W. Earle Memorial Fund.
