Predeceased by parents: Benjamin and Sophie; step-mother: Julia Christina; brothers: Clyde and Dave; parents-in-law: Emmanuel and Mary; sister-in-law: Beatrice; brother-in-law: Noel. Leaving to mourn, wife: Jeanne S.; one daughter: Sharon Horton, Sudbury, ON; three grandchildren: Tina, Amanda and Ben; one brother: Tom (Barbara), Heart's Content; six sisters: Sadie White, Sudbury, ON, Mabel Clarke, Harbour Grace, Izola (Tom) Holmes, Shearstown, Susie (Mike) Matthews, Mount Pearl, Elsie (Tony) Marsh, Bay Roberts and Sharon (Fred) Howell, Victoria; five brothers-in-law: Cléo (Lorraine) Beaudry, Hector Beaudry, Eddy Beaudry and Frank Ranger, all of Sudbury, ON and Don (Karen) Perriard, Ottawa, ON; three sisters-in-law: Raye Beauvais, Norma Beaudry and Ghis Cole, all of Sudbury, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Friday, October 5. Funeral service to take place Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the United Church, Victoria. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to take place on Saturday, October 6 at 2:00 p.m. at the United Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital, St. John's.
