EARLE, Betty L. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, January 4, 2013, Betty L. Earle of Victoria, age 67 years. Predeceased by parents: James H. and Florence R. Slade; brother: Alec Slade; brother-in-law: Nicholas Baldwin. Leaving to mourn, husband: William; two daughters: Carolann (Keith) Parsons, CBS and Kelly (John) Loch, Victoria; one son: Barry, Victoria; five grandchildren: Kyle, Kenneth, Katrina, Kelsey and Anderson; one great-grandchild: Selby; two brothers: Eldred (Zena) Slade and Brian (Sandra) Slade, both of Victoria; three sisters: Daphne Baldwin, Victoria, Yvonne Slade, Salmon Cove and Maureen (Roydon) Power, CBS; sister-in-law: Linda Slade, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, Jan. 5 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Sunday, Jan. 6 from 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. A private family funeral service will take place from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Persalvic Elementary Playground Fund in Memory of Betty Earle.
