HOGAN, Brendan - Passed peacefully away at Dr. A. A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Monday, September 30, 2013, surrounded by those he loved most, Brendan Hogan of Northern Bay, age 62 years. Predceased by parents: Catherine and Thomas and nephew: Matthew Halfyard. Leaving to mourn loving wife: Barbara; one son: Brendan Hogan (Alicia Walsh), Conception Bay South; one daughter: Wendy Hogan (Alex Hepditch), Old Perlican; six sisters: Patricia (Bob) Wickham, Kelligrews, Marg (Jim) Halfyard and Rose (Kevin) Murphy, both of Kilbride, Madeline Puddester, Northern Bay, Marie (Terry) Kennell, Small Point and Catherine (Wade) Barrett, St. John's; three brothers: Peter (Barbara) Hogan and Leo (Barbara) Hogan, both of Northern Bay and Paddy (Joan) Hogan, Western Bay; a special thank you to his homecare worker, Marilyn Wilcox and the doctors, nurses and staff of Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital for their kindness and compassion; also a large number of other nieces, nephews, close friends whom he cherished. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Wednesday, 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, October 3 at 11:00 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.
