PENNEY, Carson - Passed away peacefully but suddenly, in the presence of his loving family, at his residence on Thursday, March 8, 2012, Carson Penney of Carbonear, age 49 years. Predeceased by mother: Elva; brother: Granville and father-in-law: Andrew Galway. Leaving to mourn, wife: Andrea; two daughters: Candice (Michael) McCarthy and Susan, both of Carbonear; two granddaughters: Alyssa and Lakeisha; father: Alfred, Carbonear; sister: Jody Penney, Carbonear; mother-in-law: Susie Galway, Thicket, Riverhead, Hr. Grace; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law: Helen (John) Parsons, Shirley (Anthony) Butt, Terry (Elizabeth) Galway, Gary (Wanda) Galway and Greg (Tammy) Galway, all of Thicket, Riverhead, Hr. Grace, Gladys (Pete) Moriarty, Hr. Grace, Violet Walsh (Marvin), Carbonear and Carol-Ann (Ian) Martin, Ontario; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:00 p.m. Friday. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, March 11 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Carson Penney Memorial Fund.
