CLARKE, Catherine 'Katie' - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, July 17, 2012, Catherine 'Katie' Clarke of Carbonear, age 80 years. Predeceased by infant daughter: Holly; parents: John and Dinah Skeard; seven brothers and three sisters. Leaving to mourn, husband: John S.; three daughters: Gloria (Keith), Carbonear, June, Edmonton, AB and Catherine (Darrell), Carbonear; one son: John N. (Gertie), Carbonear; seven grandchildren: Mark (Judy), Holly (Michael), Jennifer, Mitchell, Nicole, Matthew and Michael; one great-grandchild: Max; one sister: Rhoda Laforme, Mississauga, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:30 p.m., Wednesday. Funeral service to take place on Friday, July 20 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the Interfaith Cemetery, Carbonear.
