JENKINS, Chris - Passed suddenly away at his residence in Cape Dorset, Nunavut on Tuesday, May 8, 2012, Chris Jenkins of Western Bay, age 63 years. Predeceased by aunt: Dolly Jenkins, grandmother: Gertrude Jenkins, mother-in-law: Melina Parsons, sister-in-law: Phyllis Slade and brother-in-law: Kevin Dwyer. Leaving to mourn, wife and loving friend of 43 years: Leona; son and daughter-in-law: Norman and Darlene, Western Bay; daughter and son-in-law: Lisa and Perry Mulley, Western Bay; four precious grandchildren: Brady, Kaitlin, Haley and Blake; loving and adored parents: Rudolph and Jennie, Western Bay; brothers: Carl (Linda), Keith (Anna) and David (Sherry), all of Western Bay; sisters: Donna (Luke) Delaney, Burnt Point, Jackie (Terry) Halliday and Kim (Terry) Whalen, both of Western Bay; brothers-in-law: Lloyd (Geraldine) Parsons, Millertown, Jim (Shirley) Parsons, Bristol's Hope; special brother-in-law: Eriel Parsons, Ochre Pit Cove; sisters-in-law: Muriel Peddle, Carbonear, Mary (John) Sullivan, Spaniard's Bay and Joyce (Ches) Hurrell, Ochre Pit Cove; extended and beloved family of the North: Tina, Shawn and Brionna Morrissey, Art and Doris Stewart, Ed and Jean Sheppard, Mike Soares; also staff and students of Peter Pitseolak School; a wonderful and large circle of nieces, nephews, treasured family and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Saturday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 14 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Western Bay North.
