STEVENSON, Claude T. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, March 27, 2013, Claude T. Stevenson of Harbour Grace, age 87 years. Predeceased by parents: George and Zela; sisters: Jeanette Cron and Isobel Power; brothers: Rupert and Jack. Leaving to mourn, two sisters: Georgina (William) Boggs, Georgia, USA and Mercedes Batton, St. John's; many nieces and nephews; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Friday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, March 30 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Harbour Grace. Inurnment in the United Church Cemetery, Harbour Grace. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre, St. John's.
