COURAGE, Dorothy F. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Monday, June 10, 2013, Dorothy F. Courage of Heart's Content, age 66 years. Predeceased by father: Harold Hollett and parents-in-law: John Roland and Dinah Courage. Leaving to mourn, husband: Roland; three sons: Lorne (Sharon), Ontario, Alvin (Joanne), Heart's Content and Dale (Colleen), New Perlican; five grandchildren: Chrisinda, Caitlin, Kevin, Christina and Matthew; mother: Mary Hollett; eight brothers: Eli (Mary), Cecil (Daphne), Todd (Marilyn), Melvin (Mary), David (Iris), Stephen (Susan), Barry (Judy) and Ray (Marjorie); four sisters: Ruby (Eugene) Smith, Georgina (Clevis) Reid, Marilyn (George) Boyko and Lorraine (Ray) Acreman; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Wednesday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Then at the Church of the Ascension, Chance Cove on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, June 13 at 2:00 p.m. from the Church of the Ascension, Chance Cove. Interment in the Anglican Cemetery, Chance Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Dorothy F. Courage Memorial Fund.
