SNOW, Dorothy May - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Sunday, April 28, 2013, Dorothy May Snow of Carbonear; lovingly known by all as 'Aunt Dot', age 85 years. Predeceased by husband: Walter; parents: Reuben and Maryann Wareham; brothers: George (Mary) and Reuben; sister: Elexey (Jack) and son-in-law: Garfield. Cherished mother to son: Walter Jr. (Phyllis), South River; daughters: Adeline Slade and Grace (Gerald) Rose, both of Salmon Cove, Carol Harrington, Carbonear and Tina (Alan) Ross, Dundas, ON; seven grandchildren: Sharon (Rob), Ernie, LuAnne, Jeremy (Bernie), Terrilynn (Mitchell), Sheri (Shane) and Jarod; great-grandchildren: Ian, Gary, Barry, Cody, Gina, Kyle, Luke, Lillith, Charlie and Ella; great-great-grandson: Dustin; special sister-in-law: Minnie Wareham, Carbonear; special friend: Minnie Snow, Carbonear; brother-in-law and sisters-in-law: John and Joyce Snow, Barrie, ON; Mary Parsons, Toronto, ON; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:00 p.m. Monday. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, May 1 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in Bethany United Church Cemetery, Carbonear. As an expression of sympathy, flowers are gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of NL. Visitation hours at Noel's Funeral Home are 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. daily.
