ROSE, Edith A.- Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, August 18, 2007, Edith A. Rose of Harbour Grace, age 80 years. Predeceased by parents: William and Elizabeth Hunt; sister: Liz and brothers: Edward and William. Leaving to mourn, husband: Jack; two daughters: Margaret (John) Merrigan, Harbour Grace and Brenda (Herman) Miller, Mississauga, Ontario; eight sons: Joseph (Philomena 'Phil'), Harbour Grace, Kevin (Deanna), Carbonear, Jerry (Stephanie), Windsor, Ontario, Jack (Christine), Thomas (Bridget), David (Bernice), William (Donna) and Philip, all of Harbour Grace; a large number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; one brother: Eric Reynolds, Harbour Grace; three sisters: Beatrice (Reg) Cox, Harbour Grace, Marcella (Tom) Hayes, St. John's and Molly, Ontario; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace and from where the funeral will take place on Monday, August 20 at 10:30 a.m. Mass to follow at 11:00 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
