Predeceased by: husband: Arthur; daughter: Iva Green; son: Augustus 'Gus'; sister: Grace Mentions. Leaving to mourn two sons: David (Marilyn), Mount Pearl and Gord (Debbie), Victoria; two daughters: Lina (Sidney) Payne and Gloria (Norman) Peddle, both of Heart's Content; eighteen grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; son-in-law: Eric Green, Heart's Content; daughter-in-law: Cora Ash, Carbonear; one brother: Gordon French, Shearstown; brother-in-law: Augustus Mentions, Bay Roberts; sister-in-law: Phyllis Ash, Carbonear.; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, November 5 at 2:00 p.m. from the Salvation Army Citadel, Carbonear. Interment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Carbonear North.
