PENNEY, Evelyn - Passed peacefully away just six days after her beloved husband Eric at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Thursday, May 3, 2012, Evelyn Penney of Salmon Cove, age 76 years. Predeceased by husband: Eric; infant grandson: Andrew; parents: William and Gladys Hussey; sister: Viola Lynch. Leaving to mourn, four daughters: Lorraine (Bert) King, Ruby (Dennis) Sutton, Pauline (Tony) Baldwin and Elaine (Brent) Kelloway, all of Salmon Cove; one son: Clyde (Kathy), Salmon Cove; twelve grandchildren: Kimberley (Chad), Leslie, Lisa (Jason), Melissa (Justin), Stacey (Colin), Dennis (Sascha), David (Heidi), Eric, Emily (Justin), Erica (Kenny), Amanda and Brendon; two great-grandsons: Caleb and Dawson; five brothers: Willis (Betty) Hussey, Winston (Sylvia) Hussey and Randell (Margaret) Hussey, all of Upper Island Cove, Ted (Christine) Hussey, Sunnyside and Raymond (Bonita) Hussey, Yellowknife; brother-in-law: Graham Lynch, Upper Island Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear with visitation hours on Saturday, May 5 from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday, May 6 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday, May 7 from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Monday, May 7 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove.
