Delaney of Scarborough, ON; formerly of Gull Island, age 76 years. Predeceased by parents: Joseph and Patricia Delaney; 1st husband: Harold Oliver; grandchildren: Connor and Justin Oliver; sister: Edna Doyle and brother: Jack. Leaving to mourn, husband: Cyril; three daughters: Delores (Rod) Clarke, Prince Edward Island, Genevieve Oliver, Carbonear and E. Patricia Oliver, Fort McMurray, AB; two sons: Harold 'Joe' (Annette) Oliver, Ochre Pit Cove and Edward (Denise) Oliver, North York, ON; eleven grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; step-children: Andrew, St. John's, Sheryl, Toronto, ON and Cyril Jr. (Jenny), Keswick, ON; seven step-grandchildren; one step-great-grandchild; four brothers: Raymond (Irene), Gull Island, Tom Mike (Shirly), Labrador, Andrew (Janice), Ochre Pit Cove and Gerald (Lorraine), Northern Bay.; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Monday from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m., Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral Mass to take place on Wednesday, September 19 at 2:00 p.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Genevieve Delaney Memorial Fund.
