PARSONS, Jessie - Passed peacefully away at the Interfaith Citizen's Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, August 14, 2012, Jessie Parsons of Harbour Grace, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: John Chesley; sister: Emily; brother: James. Leaving to mourn five sons: John (Philomena), Harbour Grace, Forbes (Debbie) and Vincent (Julie), both of Alberta, Stewart (Betty) and Dennis (Betty), both of Carbonear; thirteen grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister: Annie Driscoll, Nova Scotia; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace after 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Funeral service to take place on Friday, August 17 at 2:00 p.m. from Coughlan United Church, Harbour Grace. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Harbour Grace.
