TRICKETT, Joan L. (nee King) - Passed peacefully away after a long and courageous battle with cancer at the Carbonear General Hospital on Sunday, February 12, 2012, Joan L. Trickett of Carbonear, age 64 years. Predeceased by parents: Allan and Pearl King; brother: Eric; parents-in-law: Hubert and Phyllis Trickett; niece: Katrina Trickett. Leaving to mourn, husband: Winston; son: Jason, Jasper, AB; daughter: Janice (James) Sheppard, St. John's; two precious granddaughters: Paige and Emily Sheppard; three brothers: Bob (Faye) and Gary (Gin Steele), both of Carbonear and Glen (Tracy), Edmonton, AB; brothers-in-law: Byron (Brenda) and Roy (Sharon Williams), both of St. John's; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Monday from 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, February 15 at 2:00 p.m. from Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Interment in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove.
