ROWE, Joselyn M. - Passed peacefully away at St. Clare's Mercy Hospital, St. John's on Wednesday, November 21, 2012, Joselyn M. Rowe of Carbonear; formerly of Salmon Cove, age 78 years. Predeceased by 1st husband: Ted Butt; parents: Joseph and Maggie Ash; step-son: David Rowe. Leaving to mourn, husband: John; four daughters: Hilda (Barry) Reilly and Judy (Brian) Clarke, both of Stanley, NB, Flora (Bob) Arsenault, Minto, NB and Jennifer (Byron) Moores, Victoria; one son: Neil (Bev) Butt, Salmon Cove; two step-daughters: Rosalie (Brian) Peddle and Ruth (Clarence) Howell, both of Ontario; three step-sons: Wes (Elsie) Rowe, Carbonear, Perry (Mary) Rowe, Ontario and Tony (Susan) Rowe, Broad Cove; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; one brother: Donald (Sylvia) Ash, St. John's; two sisters: Stella Cooper, St. John's and Sylvia (Bob) Baker, Nova Scotia; dear friends: Mike and Ann Fortune, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday, November 24 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. A private family inurnment will be held in Riverside United Church Cemetery on Sunday, November 25. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to Ronald McDonald House, St. John's.
