SELLARS, Joseph M. 'Joe' - Passed away at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Tuesday, September 3, 2013, Joseph M. 'Joe' Sellars of Western Bay, age 65 years. Predeceased by parents: Jabez and Florence; brother: Edward; sisters: Emily Budgell, Melina Parsons, Beatrice Slade, Effie Kennell and Mary Kennedy; father-in-law: Frank Whalen; brothers-in-law: Maxwell Clarke and Heber Parsons. Leaving to mourn, wife: Leona; one daughter: Janine, Western Bay; one son: Jeremy (Colleen), Western Bay; two grandchildren: Preston and Whitney; one brother: Kenneth (Hilda), Old Perlican; three sisters: Mildred (Boyd) Wheadon and Florence (Morley) Button, both of Western Bay and Hattie Milley, Carbonear; mother-in-law: Joyce Whalen, Carbonear; sister-in-law: Gail Parsons, Bryant's Cove; brother-in-law: Cyril (Debbie) Whalen, Carbonear; also a large number of other relatives and friends. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Sunday, September 8 at 2:00 p.m. from McDowell United Church, Western Bay.
