SLADE, L. Bruce- Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, August 24, 2007, L. Bruce Slade of Salmon Cove, age 47 years. Predeceased by son: Christopher Bruce; parents: William P. and Georgiana; parents-in-law: Hubert and Bernetta Canning. Leaving to mourn, wife: Dianne; one daughter: Gina, Blackville, NB; five brothers: Philip (Millicent), Roger, and Glenn (Judy), all of Salmon Cove, Carson, Greenwood, NS and David, Kingston, ON; two sisters: Karen (Lindsay) King, Perry's Cove and Joan Slade, Kitchener, ON; sister-in-law: Debbie (Harve) Slade, Salmon Cove; brother-in-law: Dione (Rebecca) Canning, Whale Cove, Nunavut; also a number of nieces, nephews as well as other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear until 12:00 noon Sunday, August 26. Funeral service to follow at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church and Cemetery, Salmon Cove.
