MORRISSEY, Leo Francis - Passed peacefully away at the Dr. A.A. Wilkinson Memorial Hospital, Old Perlican on Saturday, June 30, 2012, Leo Francis Morrissey of Northern Bay, age 87 years. Predeceased by wife: Bridget; parents: Jack and Sarah; brother: Gus and infant sister: Gennie. Leaving to mourn, three daughters: Gennie (Jack) Fillatre, Barachois Brook, Diana (Arthur) Munden, Corner Brook and Lorraine (Gerald) Delaney, Northern Bay; seven sons: Eric (Patricia) and Bernard (Marie), both of Corner Brook, Wayne, Toronto, ON, Raymond (Georgina), Chiliwack, BC, Peter (Donna), Tottenham, ON, Brian, Toronto, ON and Vincent (Lisa), Bay de Verde; twenty-three grandchildren: Arthena (Justin), Terrilyn, Vincent, Michelle (Keith), Gary, Terry (Denise), Ryan (Leah), Jonathan (April), Darlene (Walter), Lynette, Lindsey, Brent, Laurinda (Donald), Shannon, Tex, Crystal, Brandon, Dale, Shanine (Laurence), Peter Jr., Brian, Kevin and Tasha; twenty-three great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law: Bride Morrissey, St. John's; special cousin: Mary (Allan) Nuotio, Northern Bay; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay after 7:30 p.m. Monday, July 2. Funeral mass to take place on Wednesday, July 4 at 2:00 p.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.
