FORWARD, Leona - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, May 15, 2013, Leona Forward of Carbonear, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband: Stewart; infant baby: William Lloyd; brothers: George (Irene) Osmond and Arthur Osmond; sister: Marie (Robert) Chubbs. Leaving to mourn, two sons: Lester (Regina), Harbour Grace and George (Maria), Carbonear; two grandchildren: Denise (Rendell) Slade and John Forward; two great-grandsons: Jacob and Benjamin; two brothers: Cecil (Sadie) Osmond and Robert (Doreen) Osmond, both of Carbonear; two sisters: Helen Penney, Victoria and Margaret (Wycliffe) Baker, Carbonear; sister-in-law: Audrey Forward, Buchans; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Friday, May 17 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear.
