JANES, Lillian M. - Passed peacefully away, in the presence of her loving family, at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, March 14, 2008, Lillian M. Janes of Harbour Grace, age 89 years. Predeceased by husband: Gordon; great-grandson: Tyler; brothers: William and Robert; sister: Annabel. Leaving to mourn four daughters: Gloria (Albert) LeDrew, Clarke's Beach, Doris (John) McCormick, Mount Pearl, Phyllis (Henry) Sutton, Victoria and Christene Janes, Harbour Grace; nine grandchildren: Wanda (Wayne), Shawn (Marilyn), Jeffrey (Kim), Stephen (Brenda), Ann Marie (Steven), Brian, Bernice (Scott), Judy (Terry) and Jamie (Amanda); twelve great-grandchildren: Ashley, Robbie, Joshua, Kaila, Olivia, Bradley, Jessica, Samantha, Alexandria, Erica, Megan and Matthew; one sister: Ida (Gordon) Skinner, Bristol's Hope; sisters-in-law: Effie Taylor, Bristol's Hope, Evelyn Taylor, Luxury Estates, Carbonear and Jean Janes, Harbour Grace; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace until 12:00 noon Monday, March 17. Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. from St. Paul's Anglican Church and Cemetery, Harbour Grace.
