Predeceased by wife: Jessie; daughter: Loudell; parents: John and Ethel; brothers: Ernest, Samuel, Richard and Norman. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Jackie (Robert) Deering, Fort McMurray, AB and Janine (Doug) Butt, Salmon Cove; four grandchildren: Mitchell (Melissa), Michael (Nicole), Lauralee (Eric) and Ashley (Andrew); four sisters: Rosemary (Jim) Burden, Carbonear, Lucy (Guy) Morneault, Windsor, ON, Donna (Simon) Head, Baie Verte and Jeannie Penney, Calgary, AB; sisters-in-law: Marjorie Penney, Pickering, ON, Verna Penney, Tilton, Marjorie (Fergus) Flynn, Placentia, Evelyn (Austin) Percy, South River, Vera Penney, Harbour Grace and Rosalie Penney, Victoria; brother-in-law: Charles Cole, Victoria; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:30 p.m., Wednesday, December 26. Funeral service to take place on Friday, December 28 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove.
