DELANEY, Louisa - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, March 10, 2012, Louisa Delaney of Broad Cove, age 88 years. Predeceased by husband: John; son: Clarence; daughter: Lorraine; son-in-law: Jim Wareham; parents: James and Florence Whalen; sisters: Bernadette, Myrtle, Madeline and Maria; brothers: Ormond and Herbert. Leaving to mourn, five grandchildren: Lonnie (Wanda), Major Louise, Gloria (Mark), Capts. Jennifer (Bradley) and Curtis; four great-grandchildren: Jenna, Cameron, Caden and Brandon; daughter-in-law: Gloria Delaney (Norman), Job's Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Sunday 7:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., Monday 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Tuesday 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, March 13 at 2:00 p.m. from Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Broad Cove.
