TURNBULL, Mabel J. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, August 11, 2012, Mabel J. Turnbull of Freshwater, Carbonear, age 66 years. Predeceased by husband: Fred, sons: Wally and Allison, grandson: Riley Morey, parents: George and Agnes Hiscock, brothers: Douglas, George and Gilbert, sister: Dorothy. Leaving to mourn, two daughters: Debbie (Glen) Morey, Conception Bay South and Denean (Gus) Adams, Freshwater, Carbonear; four sons: Roger (Cheryl) Hiscock, Carbonear, Brian (Rita) and Larry, both of Alberta and Terry (Tammy), Freshwater, Carbonear; seven grandchildren: Ryan, Candice, Demaris, Caitlin, Alexandra, Lucas and T.J.; four brothers: Wilfred (Ruby) Rees, Spaniard's Bay, Fred (Shirley) Rees, Whitehorse, Yukon, David (Regina) Hiscock, St. John's and Elvis (Debbie) Hiscock, Freshwater, Carbonear; three sisters: Thelma (Cecil) Churchill, Toronto, ON, Marjorie (Jim) Penney, Carbonear and Rita (Karl) Slade, Salmon Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 8:00 p.m. Saturday. Funeral service to take place on Monday, August 13 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Mabel Turnbull Memorial Fund.
