Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, August 4, Mary Ann Parsons of Ochre Pit Cove, age 71 years. Predeceased by parents: Walter and Mary Agnes Doyle; parents-in-law: Richard and Emma Parsons; brother-in-law: Richard 'Junior' Parsons; sister-in-law: Evelyn Gold; special nephew: Jamie Doyle. Leaving to mourn, husband: Ralph; two daughters: Brenda (Roger) Haynes, St. John's and Tracey (Barry) Scott, Burnt Point; two sons: Richard (Arlene) and Christopher (Anna), both of Ochre Pit Cove; seven grandchildren: Kirsten, Brianne, Andrew, Jenna, Kyle, Lucas and Hailey; three brothers: Patrick (Julie) Doyle, Gull Island, James (Marilyn) Doyle, Paradise and Edward (Aggie) Doyle, Ochre Pit Cove; two sisters: Theresa (Michael) North, Ochre Pit Cove and Rose (Jim) Tucker, Lower Sackville, NS; brother-in-law: Joseph (Mildred) Parsons, Buchans; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay after 2:00 p.m. Sunday, August 5. Funeral mass to take place on Tuesday, August 7 at 10:30 a.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Interment in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay. As an expression of sympathy, flowers gratefully accepted or donations in her memory may be made to Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church or Cemetery, Northern Bay.
