ROYAL, Maurice J. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday, September 6, 2012, Maurice J. Royal of Victoria; formerly of Job's Cove, age 70 years. Predeceased by parents: Blanche and Samuel, sisters: Veronica and Irene, brother: Brendan. Leaving to mourn, daughter: Beverley (Kevin), Nova Scotia; three sons: Brendon and Michael (Diane), both of Job's Cove and Eddy (Effie), Nova Scotia; a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren; four sisters: Margaret, St. John's, Sadie (Jerry), Michigan, USA, Catherine (Mike), Caplin Cove and Loretta (Ron), Goulds; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Friday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, September 8 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Funeral Home, Western Bay. Cremation to follow. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Canadian Lung Association or Canadian Diabetes Association.
