SLADE, Myrtle - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Monday, June 10, 2013, Myrtle Slade of Salmon Cove, age 95 years. Predeceased by husband: Warrick; son: Nelson; sisters: Violet, Stella, Hilda and Beatrice. Leaving to mourn: one daughter: Bernice Slade, Salmon Cove; four sons: Lewis (Mildred), William (Gloria) both of Salmon Cove, Warren, Ontario and Samuel, Manitoba; nine grandchildren: Christopher (Carolann), Patricia (Eric), Dale (Denise), Darrell (Shelley), Ricky (Jennie), Trisha, Amanda, Ryan and Shane; thirteen great-grandchildren; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, June 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove. Interment in Riverside United Cemetery, Salmon Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Riverside United Church, Salmon Cove.
