JOHNSON, Patricia Madeline - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear, surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, April 2, 2013, Patricia Madeline Johnson of Northern Bay, age 74 years. Predeceased by her parents: Ralph and Genevieve Purchase of St. John's. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories, her husband of 40 years, James; two daughters: Sharon (Don) Hall, St. Philips and Kelly Johnson (Brett Forsey), Torbay; three grandchildren: Kaitlyn, Jessica and Weldon; one sister: Marie (Hubert) Hall, St. John's; brothers: Ralph (Sandy) Purchase and Billy Purchase, both of St. John's; special aunt: Elizabeth 'Bessie' McCarthy, Gull Island; also a large number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Patsy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She held a special place in her heart for her grandchildren and her presence in their lives will be greatly missed. She was a devoted member of her church and will be missed by all who knew her. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Wednesday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.; Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral mass to take place on Friday, April 5 at 3:00 p.m. from Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Church, Northern Bay. Cremation to follow. Inurnment to be held on Sunday, April 7 at 2:30 p.m. in Corpus Christi Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Bay.
