GALLANT, Pearl - Passed away suddenly at her residence on Monday, July 9, 2012, Pearl Gallant of Carbonear, age 86 years. Predeceased by husband: Albert (1985); parents: John and Emma Earle; brothers: Augustus, Ronald, Frank and Loderick; sisters: Jane King and Jessie Higdon. Leaving to mourn, four sons: Brian (Carol-Ann), Ed (Donna) and Ron (Linda), all of Carbonear and Paul (Daniel), Vancouver, BC; two daughters: Geraldine (Greg) MacNeil, Carbonear and Caroline (David) Fong, Clarenville; thirteen grandchildren: Tammy Gallant, Ian (Nicole) Fong, Debbie Gallant (Tony Harris), Tanya MacNeil, Christine (Chris) Cutler, Greg (Teri) MacNeil, Scott Fong, BJ (Heather) Gallant, Ed (Kim) Gallant, Sheldon (Fran) Gallant, Alyson Fong, Kerri-Lyn Fong and Stephen Gallant; eight great-grandchildren: Logan, Eliot, Dakota, Farah, Rory, Alexander, Daniel and Nathan; three sisters: Gertrude Earle, Carbonear, Grace (Jim) Crowley, Dartmouth, NS and Lillian Smith, Spaniard's Bay; sisters-in-law: Elsie Earle and Viola Earle, both of Carbonear; a number of nieces, nephews, cousins, friends and loving caregivers: Evelyn Rodgers, Joan Thomas, Lori Conway, Joanne Evely and Brenda Oates. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 2:00 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, July 12 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Carbonear. Interment in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear.
