BURSEY, Peter R. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, January 17, 2014, Peter R. Bursey of Lower Island Cove, age 65 years. Predeceased by parents: Frank and Blanche, sister: Betsy (Clifton) Matthews and brother: Roy (Marie). Leaving to mourn, wife: Anna G.; son: Michael, Lower Island Cove; grandson: Donovan; two brothers: Harvey (Florence) and David (Olive), both of St. John's; sister: Pauline (Ronald, deceased) Corbett, St. John's; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Cremation has taken place. The family will receive relatives and friends at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay on Monday, Jan. 20 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, January 21 at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Western Bay. Inurnment in the Salvation Army Cemetery, Lower Island Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the S.P.C.A.
