CLARKE, Sadie J. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Tuesday, July 9, 2013, Sadie J. Clarke of Victoria, age 91 years. Predeceased by husband: Eleazer; infant granddaughter: Mary; parents: John and Mary Butt; sisters: Violet and Winnie; brother: Hubert. Leaving to mourn, six daughters: Mary (Randell) Tarrant, Joyce (Bill) Chamberlain and Jocelyn Clarke, all of Guelph, ON, Linda (Edward) Peckham, Salmon Cove, Mildred (Bill) Snow, Bay Roberts and Rhonda (Larry) Henry, Fergus, ON; three sons: Eleazer (Jane), Cambridge, ON, Curtis (Karen), Edmonton, AB and Randy (Darice), Grand Prairie, AB; fifteen grandchildren; a number of great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; one brother: John 'Jack' (Marion) Butt, Carbonear; brother-in-law: Basil (Betty) Clarke, Lewisporte; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear after 7:30 p.m. Thursday. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, July 13 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethel Pentecostal Church, Victoria. Interment in Bethel Pentecostal Cemetery, Victoria. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Alzheimer Society of NL or to the Canadian Diabetes Association.
