MILLEY, Sadie - Passed peacefully away in the presence of her loving family at the Health Sciences Centre, St. John's on Monday, June 18, 2012, Sadie Milley of Burnt Point, age 81 years. Predeceased by parents: Hayward and Rebecca Wheadon, sister: Doris Crocker, brothers: Chesley and Allan, step-brother: Everett. Leaving to mourn, husband: Louis 'Duke'; six daughters: Sandra (Baxter) Snelgrove, Lower Island Cove, Juanita (Wayne) Crocker, Old Perlican, Berdina (William) Royal, Lower Island Cove, Beverley (John) Clarke, Lunenburg, NS, Arlene Milley, Burnt Point and Lisa (Ken) March, Brownsdale; three sons: Brenden (Joan), and Derek, both of Burnt Point and Wayne (Gail), Lower Island Cove; nineteen grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; sister: Olive (Ivor) Noftle, Broad Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, June 21 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Interment in the United Cemetery, Burnt Point. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the Janeway Children's Hospital Foundation.
