MILLEY, Thomas R. - Passed peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, November 10, 2012, Thomas R. Milley of Burnt Point, age 81 years. Predeceased by son: Eldred Bruce; parents: Thomas Sr. and Lucy; brothers: Eli, Isaac and Pickering; sisters: Irene Milley and Jessie Tucker. Leaving to mourn, wife: Susie; two daughters: Valerie (Wayne) Stratton, Goulds and Kim (Mike) Larose, Truro, NS; four grandchildren: Vanessa (Andrew), Gregory (Paula), Brianna and Alyssa; four great-grandchildren: Carter, Dominic, Kennedy and Jordyn; one brother: Mervyn (Margaret), Burnt Point; two sisters: Marion (Sam) Sharpe, Ontario and Jane George, Burnt Point; two brothers-in-law: John (Vivian) Slade, St. John's and George (Hilda) Slade, Salmon Cove; three sisters-in-law: Ethel (Edward) Peddle, Mount Pearl, Cicily Pretty, Dildo and Maisie (Simon) Ricks, St. John's; also a number of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Resting at Memorial United Church, Burnt Point on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.; Monday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m. from Memorial United Church, Burnt Point. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Burnt Point. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the United Church Cemetery Fund, Burnt Point.
