REYNOLDS, Violet - Passed peacefully away with her loving family by her side at the Carbonear General Hospital, Carbonear on Monday, January 30, 2012, Violet Reynolds of Victoria, age 74 years. Predeceased by: son: Warren, 1977; parents: Clarence and Rhoda Penney; brother: Leslie; brothers-in-law: William (Yvonne) Reynolds and Samuel King. Leaving to mourn, husband: Sandy; four daughters: Carol (Melvin) Parsons, Debbie (Dave) Parsons, both of Victoria; Rhoda (Henry) Greene, Moncton, NB and Christine (Dave) Slade, Carbonear; two sons: Everett (Dianne), Toronto, ON and Ivan (Cavell), Salmon Cove; seven grandchildren: Jeffery (Cora), Tammy, Bradley (Tamara), Jason, Candice (Cory), Kayla (Mark) and Jordan; three great-grandchildren: Tyler, Brianna and Tayden; one brother: Baxter (Doris) Penney, Carbonear; one sister: Madeline (Frank) Antle, Victoria; sisters-in-law: Vera Penney, Ontario, Julia Mae King, Perry's Cove and Marion (Andrew) King, Victoria; brother-in-law: Warrick (Bertha) Reynolds, Perry's Cove; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Wednesday, February 1 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Perry's Cove. Interment in the United Cemetery, Perry's Cove. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in her memory may be made to the United Church, Perry's Cove.
