Passed peacefully away at Carbonear General Hospital on Friday, May 31, 2024, Violet Thomey of Carbonear, age 88 years.
Predeceased by husband: Gerald; granddaughter: Olivia Frances; parents: Albert and Jessie (Moules) Earle; sisters: Anne (Samuel) Mutery, Dorothy (Patrick) Butler, and Stella (Nelson) Taylor; brothers; John (Florence) Earle, James Earle, Arthur (Hazel) Earle, and Clarence (Mary) Earle; special friend; Elaxie Noftle.
Leaving to mourn, daughters: Jessie (Philip) Murray and Edith (Francis) Griffin, both of Carbonear; grandchildren: Shawn (Jennifer) and Luke (Erin); great-grandchildren: Emma and Hailey; sister-in-law: Von Earle; also a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Visitation at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Sunday, June 2 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m, Monday, June 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
Funeral service to take place on Monday, June 10 at 2:00 p.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel, Water Street, Carbonear.
Interment in St. Patrick's Roman Catholic Cemetery, Carbonear.
