Wallace was the son Cecil and Nellie Butt. Leaving to mourn, two sisters: Lorraine (Calvin deceased) Chaulk, St. John's and Yvonne (Charles) Pelley, Kingston, ON; three brothers: Harold (Nina), Grand Falls-Windsor, Douglas (Yvonne), Norman's Cove and Bruce, St. John's; nieces: Melanie (Ian) McLeod, Paradise, Michelle (Brian) Newby, Toronto, ON, Christina (Shawn) Osmond, Grand Falls-Windsor, Heather (Cory) Kelly, Victoria, Susan (Glenn) Randell, Saskatoon, SK, Jennifer (Neil Robitaille) Pelley, Ottawa, ON and Karen (Leo) Grepin, Roxbury, CT; nephews: Bruce (Elaine) Chaulk and Stephen (Michelle) Butt, both of St. John's, David (Suzanne) Butt, Ottawa, ON and Andrew (Maya) Pelley, Toronto, ON; a number of grandnieces, grandnephews and also a number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Tuesday, January 1, 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 2, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, January 3, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Funeral service to take place on Thursday, January 3 at 2:00 p.m. from the United Church, Freshwater, Carbonear. Interment in the United Cemetery, Freshwater, Carbonear.
