REYNOLDS, Walter H. - Passed peacefully away at the Harbour Lodge Nursing Home, Carbonear on Wednesday, August 29, 2012, Walter H. Reynolds of Small Point, age 87 years. Predeceased by wife: Sarah; parents: Jabez and Marion; brothers: Jack, William, Melvin and Earl; sisters: Hilda, Elizabeth and Rae. Leaving to mourn, five daughters: Cynthia (Kenneth) Bailey, Paradise, Gayle Reynolds (Rex Gilbert), Carbonear, Sherry (Donald) Howell, Small Point, Karen (Derrick) White, Blackhead and Jackie Reynolds (Todd Piercey), Freshwater, Carbonear; twelve grandchildren: Jennifer, Dawn, Matthew, Jason, Timothy (Kim), Jeremy, Emily (Chris), Rebecca, Bradley (Crystal), Courtney (Jay), Colan and Alicia; six great-grandchildren: Acacia, Kyra, Ashton, Tyra, Parker and Addison; two brothers: Rev. Berkley (Velma) Reynolds, Carbonear and Clyde (Gloria) Reynolds, Scarborough, ON; one sister: Jennie Pye, St. John's; sisters-in-law: Pauline Holland, Halifax, NS, Dorothy Slade (John McLellan), Ontario and Marguerite Reynolds, USA; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay with visitation hours on Thursday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., Friday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Saturday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, September 1 at 2:00 p.m. from Ocean View United Church, Broad Cove. Interment in the United Cemetery, Broad Cove.
