BUTT, William H. - Passed peacefully away in the presence of his loving family at the Carbonear General Hospital on Saturday, May 11, 2013, William H. Butt of Carbonear, age 90 years. Predeceased by wife: Elizabeth M.; infant children: Allan and Lillian; parents: William T. and Lilly Mae; brother: Arthur. Leaving to mourn, two sons: Bill (Elizabeth), Markdale, ON and Randolph (Dianne), Carbonear; five grandchildren: Tracey, Cheri Lynn, Cindy (Neil), Trevor (Amanda) and Wayne (Ellen); three great-grandchildren: Michelle, Cheyenne and Alyssa; two brothers: Warrick, Perry's Cove and Tom (Phyllis), Mount Pearl; three sisters: Violet (Frank) Forward, Carbonear, Jessie Mae (Eric) Slade, Salmon Cove and Elizabeth Parker, Baltimore, USA; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear. Funeral service to take place on Tuesday, May 14 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in Park Avenue United Cemetery, Carbonear South. In lieu of flowers, as an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Children's Wish Foundation.
