Predeceased by wife: Helen; parents: John and Alice. Leaving to mourn, one daughter: Dawn Barrett, Fort McMurray, AB; two sons: Gary (Natasha), Harbour Grace and Barry (Stephanie), Portugal Cove; step-son: Brian (Sareen) Sullivan, Nova Scotia; two grandchildren: Sophie and Simon; four step-grandchildren: Jennine, Amanda, Stephanie and Brittany; two brothers: Mike (Ann) Fortune and family, Carbonear and Sean Fortune, Bishop's Falls; one sister: Leonnie Fortune, Bishop's Falls; mother-in-law: Anna Sullivan, Luxury Estates, Carbonear: brothers-in-law: Edward (Viola) Sullivan, South River, Maurice (Marg) Sullivan, Sunnyside and Gerard Sullivan, Riverhead, Harbour Grace; sisters-in-law: Frances (Charlie) Rogers and Helen Sullivan, both of Harbour Grace and Winnie Sullivan, Bay Roberts; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Harvey Street, Harbour Grace on Tuesday from 8:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Mass to take place on Thursday, September 26 at 10:00 a.m. from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Riverhead, Harbour Grace. Interment in the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Harbour Grace. As an expression of sympathy, donations in his memory may be made to the Dr. H. Bliss Murphy Cancer Centre.
