Predeceased by infant daughters: Darlene and Rhoda; parents: John and Flora Baker; parents-in-law: Harrison and Florence Verge; brothers: Leo and Richard; sister: Evelyn Crocker. Leaving to mourn his wife Annie of 53 years, one daughter: Annie (Bob) Hibben, Ontario; two sons: Shawn (Marilyn) and Darren (Cindy), both of Ontario; daughter-in-law: Lynette Baker, Carbonear; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; eight brothers and sisters. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Water Street, Carbonear on Saturday from 7:30 to 9:00 p.m., Sunday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, 2:00 to 5:00 p.m., 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon. Funeral service to place on Monday, December 17 at 2:00 p.m. from Bethany United Church, Carbonear. Interment in the United Church Cemetery, Carbonear South.
