PARSONS, Wm. James 'Jim' - Passed away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Wednesday, April 30, 2014, Wm. James 'Jim' Parsons of Ochre Pit Cove, age 82 years. Predeceased by parents: John T. and Melina; infant son; two infant granddaughters; sister: Phylis Slade (Albert Slade) and (special friend Kevin Dwyer); brothers-in-law: Marcel Belanger and Chris Jenkins Leaving to mourn, wife: Shirley; two daughters: Donna (Randy Rose) and Elizabeth (Paul Fahey), both of Ochre Pit Cove; three sons: Don (Bernice), Carbonear, Eric (Bonnie), Clarke's Beach and Chris (Marcela), Ontario; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two brothers: Lloyd (Geraldine), Grand Falls-Windsor and Erial, Ochre Pit Cove; four sisters: Muriel Peddle, Carbonear, Joyce (Chesley) Hurrell, Ochre Pit Cove, Mary (John) Sullivan, Spaniard's Bay and Leona Jenkins, Western Bay; sisters-in-law: Daisy Higdon and Mary Ford; also a large number of other relatives and friends. Resting at Noel's Funeral Home, Main Highway, Western Bay. Funeral service to take place on Saturday, May3, at 11:00 a.m. from Noel's Memorial Chapel , Western Bay. Interment in the United Cemetery, Ochre Pit Cove.
